Arrive at Balasore Railway Station in the morning. Our driver will receive you at the railway station and assist you with your transfer.

After meeting your driver, begin your Balasore sightseeing tour.

Visit Emami Jagannath Temple

Your first sightseeing stop will be the beautiful Emami Jagannath Temple, located near Balasore.

Afternoon – Chandipur Beach

Later in the afternoon, visit the famous Chandipur Beach.

Chandipur is famous for its unusual tidal phenomenon. During low tide, the sea can retreat significantly from the shoreline, exposing a large stretch of seabed. The timing of this phenomenon varies with the tide, so the beach visit should be planned according to the tide timings on your travel date.

Enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach, take photographs and experience the unique coastal landscape.

Important: Visitors should follow local safety advice and avoid walking too far into the exposed seabed, as the water returns with the incoming tide.

Evening – Balramgadi or Leisure Time

Nilagiri

After visiting Panchalingeswar, continue towards the Nilagiri area.

Spend some time walking along the beach, taking photographs and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Note: Sea conditions and tide timings should be considered before entering the water or walking towards the sea.

Udaypur Beach

Continue towards nearby Udaypur Beach.

Enjoy some relaxed time along the coast and explore the quieter surroundings.

Chandaneswar Temple

Next, visit Chandaneswar Temple, an important Shiva temple near the Odisha–West Bengal border.

Chandaneswar is an important religious and cultural destination in North Odisha and is especially known for its annual festivities.

Lunch

Have lunch at a suitable local restaurant before continuing the day's sightseeing.

Bichitrapur Mangrove Reserve

In the afternoon, proceed towards Bichitrapur Mangrove Reserve.

Bichitrapur offers a completely different experience from the beaches and temples of Balasore. The mangrove ecosystem is suitable for travellers interested in nature, birdwatching and eco-tourism.

Optional: Boating can be included depending on local operating conditions, availability and weather.

Evening – Return to Chandipur
